Register now for this year’s Developer Experience Conference (DevXcon SF 2018), June 4-5, 2018 in San Francisco

This is our third year in San Francisco, and we are continuing to build an event whose goal is to serve you. Because of that, here are some changes that we have added to the event based on your feedback.

First, here’s a brief history of the evolution of DevXcon:

2016: DevRelCon SF 2016

We are part of the DevRelCon family and ran our first event in SF as a ~140-person one-day event at Microsoft Reactor.

We expanded the SF event to cover Developer Experience. (In our case, this is a term that includes Developer Relations and other areas under a larger umbrella). The event grew to ~190 people, hosted at Galvanize.

2018: DevXcon SF 2018!

We’re excited to offer the following at this year’s event:

  1. Networking: Getting takeaways that you can bring back to your job doesn’t just come from sessions. It comes from meaningful discussions and we’ve heard your request for more. This year, we will have an entire lounge for you to grab time with old and new friends, and to share notes, headaches, and best practices.
  2. Unconf: Aside from sessions and keynotes curated to our vision, our breakout room will include unconf sessions for you to suggest the topics that you want to discuss.
  3. Extended schedule: We are experimenting with a 2-day event this year to see what you think. A second day allows for both sessions and the networking that people wanted, so we’re going to have a go at it!

So, register now to meet our speakers and join the discussion! This is a volunteer-run event and we do it out of our passion for Developer Experience. We also thank major sponsors such as GitHub who believe in our vision and generously give us support 💖. I look forward to seeing you at the event!

Best,

Tamao Nakahara
