In 2017, Hoopy teamed up with the Chinese developer community agency DevEco to host DevRelCon Beijing.

Held in the 798 Arts District of the city, the first ever developer relations conference in China was simultaneously streamed to audiences in cities across the country.

Talks were given in both English and Mandarin, with speakers from CSDN, Alibaba, Microsoft, Nexmo, and elsewhere. Live translation enabled everyone to take part.
