DevRelCon is back as an in-person conference. After three successful online editions, DevRelCon is heading to Prague for the first time.

Here’s what to expect from the event, including the speaker line-up, and more on the venue.

DevRelCon Prague themes

As we get closer to the end of 2022, the global economic situation seems to be moving from “uncertain” to recession. Even though there are still many DevRel jobs available, layoffs have impacted developer relations teams at companies large and small.

In DevRelCon Prague 2022, we want to explore both how DevRel teams can prove their value in tough economic times and also how they can respond to tighter budgets.

We’ll also dive into the theme of DevRel for employer branding. We’ll have talks on how developer relations can help make companies a better place to work for internal software engineers, as well as contributing to the broader success of the company.

There’ll also be plenty of talks on other topics, including how DevRel relates to Web3, product led growth, diversity, and more.

Why Prague?

Spojka EventsThis will be the first of many European DevRelCons outside London. Prague is a great city for DevRelCon, not only due to its own tech scene but also its location in central Europe. The Czech Republic is also home to, whose engineering community team is co-organising the event alongside Hoopy.

For DevRelCon Prague 2022, we’re heading to Spojka Events in the city’s Karlín neighbourhood. If you’re coming to the conference, you’ll find Karlín is close to the central areas of Prague and well connected to the city’s metro system.

DevRelCon Prague Speakers

Attending DevRelCon isn’t just about the talks. It’s a great opportunity to meet other DevRel practitioners and there’s usually karaoke. But, as always, we have a great line-up of speakers who’ll share their experience with you.
